Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on students' ability to complete questions based on the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). This type of research is quantitative research with quasi-experimental research methods. The research design used was pre-experimental with one group pre-test post-test. The data analysis technique used is the Paired Sample T-test with the Normality Test as the prerequisite test. The results showed that there was a difference between the average pre-test score and the average post-test score. The results of the students' post-test scores increased compared to the pre-test scores after being given the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. From the results of the paired sample t-test, a significance value of less than 0.05 was obtained which indicated that there was a significant effect of the application of the PBL learning model on students' ability to complete questions based on the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM).
